Add a dash of Internet, and even car rentals look sexy. Leaping 56% after its IPO, car-sharing service Zipcar has a roughly $1.1 billion market value. That isn't far short of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group at $2 billion, though the latter's 2010 Ebitda of $236 million compares with Zipcar's $4 million. But Dollar Thrifty shareholders still have bragging rights: Its shares have leapt from 60 cents in the early 2009 bottom to $68 today.
